In fact, the first owners of it were
the Zamani's family. Zisis Zamanis is wellknown to
Siatista people but also to the Greek world of education
in general; he was born on 1874, and studied
Greek literature at Athens' University, had taken prizes and had
been honored by the community with the silver and gold
Cross of the George the First's order.The
house bought Dimitrios Patronas by the Zamani's
descendants in 1954, and he gave it as dowry to his
daughter Theodora Patrona Tati, who keeps being its
owner. According to the 11th Trustee of
Byzantine Antiquities, it is the unique architectonic
sample of the Macedonian style. |
