The church of Prophet Elias is placed between the two quarters of our town, Chora and Geraneia. It is a three aisle wooden roof basilica with raised vestibule - lady's apartment and a single place chapel, Saint Haralampos , to the southeast side.

It was built in 1701. Its hagiographies were painted between 1740-1744, we also know the names of the painters, Anastasios Ioannou Kaloudis from Epirus and his brothers.
